ROK-Straps are the brainchild of an Australian engineer Gary McCay. During his university studies into eye injuries, Gary became aware of the utterly horrific dangers posed by conventional elastic cords and “bungees” .
ROK-Straps Pty Australia, was formed to design and manufacture safer straps which make use of Gary’s new design of solid rubber shock-cord with woven nylon outer, together with ingenious rubber-coated end hooks. His innovative design has significantly less recoil if released under tension, and the hook’s design eliminates all sharp edges.
